Our client, a leading petrochemical company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit Application Support Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:
¿ Promotes the efficient and effective use of Enterprises Business Systems and Applications in a proactive and continuous manner.
¿ Receives user complaints and feedback related to Application Systems and provides support to users to ensure problem resolution. Advises users on the best solutions for business problems within the framework of existing system design.
¿ Identifies need for system modification and ensures that such needs will be considered in case of systems development in the future. Amends / modifies systems, if required within an agreed service level framework that will not involve system redesign or will not effect the current implementation. Ensures that user needs are met and problems are solved.
¿ Prepares documentation for all programming changes and modifications to the system to maintain a complete record of all aspects of the system.
¿ Develops and implements software changes in accordance with business requirements utilizing software development industry best practices. Designs, develops and tests program logic. Ensures that programs are in accordance to specifications and overall user requirements.
¿ To advice on feasible plans for completing data design and definition project and is responsible for the various stages of the development and implementation of the Enterprise data model and data warehouse, using industrial tools and methodologies in order to meet business needs.
¿ To support data integration and interfaces.
¿ To develop a system based on different project management tasks and with proper documentation & change management controls for affecting the change.
¿ Knowledge of various application design tools like Maximo Application Designer, Oracle Developer, Java, .Net technologies.
¿ Strong practical knowledge of using & supporting standard applications like Maximo / Oracle e-business suite/ Oracle Hyperion systems on Windows / Linux platform.
¿ Strong Knowledge on Application System Administration Activities like user creation, Application security privileges, workflow development & administration, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
¿ Bachelor¿s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent with minimum 8 to 10 years experience.
¿ Must be easily understood and possess excellent English communication skills, both verbal and writing skills. Arabic language preferred.
