This vacancy is with our client, French Collaboration Company undertaking Projects in oil & gas sector.

Activities ¿ Required:
¿ Able to carry out welding as per code and applicable welding procedure
¿ Fully understands the principles and application of company¿s work permit system together with safety precautions required when working on offshore oil & gas facilities with the presence of hydrogen sulphide
¿ He shall be equipped with a set of tools
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES:
HSE Responsibilities for Employee
¿ Comply with the activities described within HSEMS
¿ Take care of his own health and safety as well as for those who may be affected by his acts at work
¿ Know his duties with regard to environmental issues at his work place
¿ Actively participate in company waste management segregation system
¿ Actively participate in company safety management ( Reporting anomaly cards, safety talks etc)
¿ Have a satisfactory understanding of lifting gear safety devices, features and their safety use
¿ Have a satisfactory understanding of safety and emergency equipment procedures ( to comply with basket, skid and container SWL)
¿ To assist medical team during personnel transfer with FROG or stretcher if necessary ( Medevac)
¿ Ensure safety operations of helicopter, perform safe and efficient duties as helideck crew with FL assistant

As such his duties and areas of authority are:

¿ Follow instructions given by managers and supervisory personnel, in accordance with company rules, good working practices and as long as it doesn¿t compromise safely
¿ Ensure that his work place is safe prior starting any job
¿ Taking the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger
¿ Exercising such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons, installation or to avoid pollution
¿ Reporting any anomaly, abnormal conditions ad near miss to Logistic Superintendent
¿ Participating actively in safety meeting, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
¿ Co-operating actively in the execution of the HSE plans

Qualifications & Experience Required:
¿ Minimum 5 years of work experience in oil & gas offshore site
¿ Good communication skills in English

Period Required: 5 Months
Work Location: Offshore, Abu Dhabi
