Our client, a leading oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Policy & Job Evaluation Assistant

Purpose and Scope:

Provides support and assists in the administration of personnel policies, compensation and job design activities. This includes the necessary preparatory work for: collecting data, maintaining & updating the personnel policies, systems & procedures, compensation & Benefits data, assistance in job descriptions preparation, the preparation for JEC meetings and updating records, maintenance and issue of the Company¿s Organisation Chart Manual.

Main Accountabilities
¿ Collects data for the updating of Personnel Policy (APP), Employee Handbook and Sys Procedures manual.
¿ Maintains records of all the new and amended policies and ensure the up-date of the on-line Personnel Policy.
¿ Highlights all the changes and amendments in the Personnel Policy for review by Supervisor.
¿ Maintains, updates, produces on PC, checks and distributes Company¿s organisation charts manual in reflecting the approved manpower establishment and off-establishment.
¿ Carries out preliminary comparative studies on revised job descriptions by highlighting similarities/differences with old ones and other comparable jobs within the Company
¿ Maintains and keeps a record of all evaluated jobs, factor rating forms, letters of notification to the Division/ Department concerned of the evaluation result and the approved grades.
¿ Maintains various files, records, reports, personnel policy directives, job evaluation reports, organisation charts, other policies documents and studies.
¿ Handles incoming/outgoing mail, sorts, attaches references as necessary and passes to supervisor or addressee. Delivers confidential material personally to other Departments/Divisions. Ensures the distribution of certain reports as appropriate
¿ Uses PC to produce and proof read job descriptions and the Section correspondences, includes all documents for the Job Evaluation Factor Rating Forms, all documents for the Job Evaluation Committee Meetings and the Committee¿s recommendation and correspondence to ADNOC.
¿ Assists in compilation of compensation & benefits data for all employees, related comparisons, processing ESC.
¿ Performs a variety of supporting duties such as answering and making telephone calls, receiving and relaying messages, arranging circulation of various magazines, periodicals, circulars, reports within the Section as required.
¿ Drafts routine letters/correspondence for supervisor¿s signature.

Minimum Requirements:
¿ Completion of secondary education (12 years) or equivalent preferably with Diploma in the Personnel Administration /HR
¿ 6 years experience in personnel & administrative support work.
¿ Initiative with attention to detail.
¿ Computer literacy with good knowledge of MS Office.
¿ Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.
