Job description
¿ He will be responsible for purchasing / procuring and negotiating materials for the assigned product lines with vendors. The person would also undertake material requirement quotas achievement and sourcing new vendors to achieve optimum cost-quality-time ratio.¿ Negotiate contracts with suppliers specifying quality, quantity and delivery schedules
¿ Recommends the most appropriate and cost effective alternatives
¿ Monitor market changes, competitor prices and products, and past sales patterns to forecast future demand
¿ Develop action plans to meet business targets given by category manager
¿ Effective purchasing specialists need to be deeply familiar with the technical aspects of the goods or services they purchase.
