Our client, a French collaborated oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit E&I Technical Trainer for their onshore location

Missions:
¿ Ensure that all trainees reach, at the end of the program, the level of competences required by Operations in his discipline and pass the VEDEC certificate 3.
¿ Develop all training materials (trainee and trainer books) for his discipline.
¿ Teach the trainees using training materials he has developed but also Academy and VEDC workshops and other training facilities.
¿ Coordinate the OJT programs in liaise with Offshore training coordinators.
¿ Establish good relationships with his operations counterparts.
¿ Contribute, by his own attitude, to a good team spirit and high motivation among the training team.
¿ Train and coach his VEDC successor.

Activities:
¿ Write all training supports in his discipline using technical training documents.
¿ Develop specific training books for trainees and trainers for his discipline.
¿ Deliver all classroom courses for his discipline.
¿ Deliver all applied workshops for his discipline.
¿ Optimize the use of the equipment in the workshop for the benefit of the trainees
¿ Lead all workshop trainings.
¿ Go to offshore and/or visit sub-contractors on regular basis to prepare, follow-up or assess the trainees OJT assignments.
¿ Apply regular trainees¿ assessments (theoretical and practical).
¿ Develop his own assessment tools when required.
¿ Monitor the individual trainee¿s progress and take corrective actions when necessary.
¿ Participate to all weekly meetings and share his views with his manager and colleagues.
¿ Ensure training data updating and prepare related statistics.
¿ Ensure OJT training program execution coordination in liaise with Offshore training coordinators and his field disciplines specialists.

Required Qualification and Background:
¿ BSc. or equivalent in technical fields
¿ Minimum 15 years of experience in the industry, preferably in Oil & Gas
¿ Minimum 5 years in supervisory position(s)
¿ Prior and significant experience as a technical instructor
¿ Very good English is required, Arabic language is a plus
