The above vacancy is with our client, undertaking projects in the oil & gas sector.

Technical Skill Sets:

¿ Experienced in the design of Instruments & Control systems for PLC, DCS, ESD, F&G systems.
¿ To Design Electronic/Hydraulic/Pneumatic Control Systems for process control in Oil and Gas Process Plants.
¿ Preparation of Detailed Technical Specifications for Control valves, Actuators and Actuated Valves.
¿ Preparation of Data sheets and specifications for Pressure Safety Valves, Field Instruments, Telecommunication systems and their field equipment.
¿ Excellent knowledge of all International Codes and Standards like IEC, ISO, SOLAS, API, ANSI/ISA,ASME,NFPA, BS, ITU-T, SHELL DEP etc. and general knowledge of other disciplines.
¿ To have experience in green field and brown field projects along with advanced process instrumentation methods
¿ To have recent experience with DCS, SIS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI and data historian.
¿ To size and specify communication system such as data, telephone, wireless, transmission and facilities.
¿ To prepare review and approve detailed and general arrangement drawings such as: Instrument layouts, Cable/rack routing, Process hook-ups and MTO.
¿ To prepare review and approve F&G layouts, Telecom layouts, Cable schedules, Equipment and Control room layouts.
¿ To prepare review and approve Instrument Index, Block diagrams, Earthing installation, Termination diagrams, mounting details for racks and equipment, I/O schedule, P&ID tagging.
¿ To write control philosophy, prepare cause and effect diagrams, ladder diagrams for PLC Control.
¿ Knowledge of PLC programming is preferred.
¿ To write procedures and method statements for retrofit installations and or removal, maintenance, overhaul of instrumentation systems.
¿ Experience with intools is a must.

Management Skill Sets:

¿ Development and preparation of contracting plan and strategy for solicitation, evaluation and award of contract for detail engineering, procurement and construction.
¿ Deep Knowledge of project development: preliminary engineering to detail designs to construction and the final safe turnover to proponent.
¿ Coordination of information, requirements and needs with other disciplines directly related to the Instrumentation & Control design.
¿ Experience in development of material requisitions and technical evaluation of received proposals.
¿ Attending Coordination meetings with client, vendors and subcontractors.
¿ Time (hours) estimation for project development (engineering).
¿ Manage contractor preparation of detailed design, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages.
¿ Communicating with all levels of management.

Qualifications:
¿ Bachelor degree in instrumentation or related background.
¿ Affiliation to professional bodies in the field of specialization.
¿ Minimum 15 years experience with Consulting / EPC Firms of which at least 10 years must be in Oil & Gas sector.
