Job description

This vacancy is for our client, French Collaboration Company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE

JOB DIMENSIONS:

¿ Promotion on the company HSE Management System (MS) within company Contractors.
¿ Coordinate HSE matters/events within the company
¿ Develops strategies to minimize reoccurrence of events within the company

ACTIVITIES:
Among others:
¿ Consolidates and reports DOL Safety indicators (LTIF, TRIR, HPIF, working man hours and others). Information delivered to DOL
¿ Upgrading company rules related to HSE and DOL activities.
¿ In coordination with MSI and DOLB creation of new guidelines for DOL
¿ In coordination with MSI and DOLB and HSE Department preparation of company Safety Feedback Notices (SFN).
¿ Prepare weekly HSE reports & messages to be distributed: Safety Alerts, Safety Feedback Notices and Incident Analysis from recognized bodies.
¿ Follow up and update of DOL Synergi cases.
¿ Prepare, update and follow up road related, vessel collision and aviation events database.
¿ Search for new technologies that can be useful to improve HSE performances within the company

Scheduled meetings:
¿ Liaises with HSE Department to perform safety feedback notices, provide additional information about events.
¿ Participates in onshore/Offshore HSE meetings providing updated information about company Safety indicators and others required.
¿ Participates in Task Force meetings providing information and feedback required by participants.
¿ Main findings/outcomes of the above meetings to be properly informed to DOL


CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT:

¿ Able to handle several tasks at the same time.
¿ Respect of HSE and security rules while performing activities.



ACCOUNTABILITIES:

¿ Provide and analyze reliable reports based in research and investigation of company database.
¿ Estimate feasible goals for HSE indicators.
¿ Close follow up of affiliate events. Guarantee proper classification and further analysis if required by the event (cause tree analysis, board of enquiry, etc.)


Required Qualification & Technical Back-grounds:

¿ Engineering Degree (Marine, Mechanical)
¿ Field experience in Logistics: 2-3 years.
¿ Overall experience in Logistics: 5 years.( including marine experience )
¿ Good knowledge of company HSE Management System.
¿ Good knowledge of the EP Referential.
¿ Good knowledge in Synegi-Stre@m software/database. Skills to be acquired in three-day training.
¿ Fluent in English. All communication with affiliates done in this language.

Work Location: Onshore (Abu Dhabi Main Offices)
