Job description

Our client, a prestigious refinery company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit candidates for the above position.


Main Duties and Responsibilities
¿ Directs and supervises the maintenance activities of assigned personnel in the unit.
¿ Provides engineering back up to Control Maintenance personnel on various maintenance issues to achieve high plant performance and reliability
¿ Supervise the implementation of predictive, preventive, corrective, modification and major shutdown maintenance programmes and participates in the preparation of such programmes
¿ Reviews and assess the reliability of major instrumentation, such as ESD systems, PSA systems, refinery control water systems, gas turbines control packages in GUP and ensures that specified recommendations are followed by site.
¿ Reviews and provide technical specifications of existing and new equipment
¿ Participates in preparing of the scope of work. Supervise the design works of consultants and engineering contractors to ensure that they are in accordance with the scope
¿ Reviews spares availability and consumption and prepares management system
¿ Participates in the preparation of preliminary budget estimates for capital and operating requirements of his area.
¿ Reviews all T.Q.M proposals and comments on their suitability
¿ Participates in the preparation of and implements detailed maintenance procedures and practices
¿ Assist in preparing training programs for National employees undergoing on the job training by identifying specific training need.

Requirements

Bsc in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering with 7 years experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
