Job description
Our client, a leading oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Sr. Geophysicist (Acquisition & Processing)Basic Function
¿ Participates in planning and coordination of the Geoscience Department 2D and 3D seismic acquisition, processing and re-processing activities and monitor seismic acquisition, processing and re-processing activities of the OPCOs and SPC companies.
¿ This includes, participation in organising the tender, design and selection of acquisition geometry and parameters, selection of processing and re-processing sequence and parameters, supervision of the seismic contractor and quality control of all intermediate and final products.
¿ Provides technical support to the Geoscience Manager and Exploration Manager and representation of the company in technical meetings with OPCOs, OPCO Shareholders, SPC companies, vendors and consultants
Minimum Requirements
¿ Bachelors Degree in Sciences (Physics / Geophysics)
¿ 8 years of experience with all aspects of E&P geophysical acquisition and processing, including tendering, contracting and project AQ/QC
¿ Fluency in written and spoken English
