Business Development Executive¿High End Door Hardware Retail

Job Purpose
To introduce high quality architectural ironmongery products to interior designers, architects and end user customers building high end residences in order to develop business opportunities and increase revenue

Duties and Responsibilities
¿ Implement the business strategy for growth and promotion of high quality architectural ironmongery products in line with overall business strategy
¿ Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across the target market to drive growth and increase revenues
¿ Establish relationships with architects and interior designers who are involved in furnishing high end residences through face to face meetings, telephone calls and e-mails
¿ Actively and successfully manage the client end to end: lead generation, client follow up, close, handover, after sales customer service ensuring timely delivery of product, quality control and resolve any issues
¿ Organise presentations by designers from different countries to present to students and faculties in universities and other design related organisations and institutions with the aim to establish relationships and build a brand community.
¿ Contact individuals decorating private residences in order to introduce, promote and sell high end architectural ironmongery products
¿ Follow up and through with potential customers to ensure meetings take place
¿ Encourage customers to visit retail outlet for brand experience reasons and promote the retail outlet as a meeting point for interior designers, architects and other potential clients
¿ Respond to any requests for information in a timely manner, delegate to other departments where required and follow up to ensure required information is delivered
¿ Effectively interact with other departments when handing over clients ensuring all aspects of the sale are fully and correctly briefed upon
¿ Keep abreast of issues affecting construction and developers to source potential clients and collect competitor intelligence

Qualifications
Graduate in Marketing or Business qualification


Competencies and Experience
¿ A minimum of 3- 5 years experience in a sales or similar role
¿ Strong business acumen
¿ Strong client management and sales skills with ability to `close the deal¿
¿ Strong influencing and negotiating skills
¿ Ability to represent the client in a positive and professional manner
¿ Effective communicator both written and verbally
¿ Able to plan and organise effectively
¿ Capable of working independently, self disciplined and motivated
¿ Ability to work with different levels within the organisation
¿ Resilient
¿ PC literate and proficient in office software applications
