Job description
Our client, a French collaborated oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Senior Pipeline Engineer for their Onshore location.Job Description
¿ Manage Projects (either for Installation of new pipeline or Emergency Pipeline Repair) in their entirety, from the tender step up to completion and handover.
¿ Act as the prime contact for technical, contractual and commercial interface. Define and develop full-scale project plans, goals, deliverables and communication document. Financial Management and contractual control of proposals, in line with Company standards and procedures. ¿ Management of engineering and procurement strategies. Estimate the resources and manage the resource scheduling.
¿ Liaise with Head of Engineering & Projects or Project Manager on an ongoing basis.
Activities - Required
HSE
¿ Responsible to control that Project is conducted such as to ensure the safety of future operations.
¿ As participant to engineering of new projects or repair, ensure that all procedures & instructions are respected and manage closely the teams involved in the operation to prevent accidents
¿ Ensures that the Referential Regulation is respected
¿ Propose modifications of the existing methods & tools to decrease the Safety Risk during major interventions, daily routines & normal operation
¿ Preparation of Risk assessments
¿ Participate to Safety Quality Meeting with Contractors
Main duties
¿ Setting a personnel example in adherence to HSE Procedure.
¿ Ensuring that Company rules and procedures are known and understood
¿ Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
¿ Prepare inventory of material to cover the repair of all existing offshore pipelines in Field
¿ Launch the order of Material required
¿ Work with Head Office Specialists to finalize the type of material to order
¿ Financial Management and contractual control of proposals, in line with Company standards and procedures
¿ Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within Company
¿ Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
¿ Track project milestones and deliverables.
¿ Built, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
¿ Carry out inventory of existing materials in stock for EPRS & order for the missing materials.
General activities
¿ Report to Management, develop full scale project plans and associated communications documents.
¿ Act for other Team members when they are off
¿ Keep regular contact with counterpart offshore personnel and provide them the best support

¿ Good knowledge of Pipeline and Oil & Gas operations with proven supervisory abilities.
¿ Good relational, presentation and communication skills.
Observations:
¿ Decision taking is actually delegated to its management onshore (DO/EP)
Required Skills:
¿ Qualification Min. BS in pipeline Engineering or Equivalent
¿ At least 10 years experience on Project activities for offshore pipe laying and Offshore Emergency Pipeline Repair
¿ Must anticipate problems for his trade and have the ability to work within tight schedule and to face unexpected disruption in his schedule.
¿ English written and spoken fluently
